See what's on our beauty radar this month.

Berry nice
Raspberry is our new favourite shade… not a ravishing red and not a hot pink but somewhere muddled in the middle. Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick in Raspberry, $79, (1) is one of eight new matte shades which give you long lasting and hydrating colour.

Scent of the season
Heralding the cooler weather comes Ecoya’s Blue Cypress and Amber candle. We love the ever-so-delicately sweetened fragrance of honeyed dry fruits, which complements the aroma of amber, blue cypress and myrrh. The gold lid on the mason jar is a luxurious touch for this limited edition candle.
A must-have for any room. $50 (2).

Palette pick
Planning a weekend away? Be sure to pack Jane Iredale’s new Getaway Eye Shadow Kit, $99 (3). With five shades that range from pearl to black, you can mix and match and be ready for any occasion. We love that it comes in an elegant rose-gold mirrored
compact. Perfection.

Rock of ages
Jo Malone have just released a new limited edition collection called London Rocks the Ages. The five strong offering takes you on an intoxicating and sensuous trip through the history of Great Britain. Weaving through the Tudor, Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian and the times of Britain today, each fragrance really evokes its era. We can’t get enough of the Tudor Rose & Amber. Think rose, clove, ginger wrapped up in amber. It’s rich, regal and sumptuous. $110 each (4).

Wipe out
It’s a hard road finding the perfect makeup remover… that’s why we’ve gone and done it for you. As its name suggests, Elizabeth Arden’s All Gone Eye and Lip Makeup Remover aims to remove all remnants of makeup by dissolving mascara, longwear lipstick and waterproof makeup. Best of all,
it uses a unique blend of cleansers, plant extracts and moisturisers to ensure it
won’t strip your skin of moisture. $50 (5).

It’s all about oils, oils, oils

Lip oil: Ever heard of a tinted lip oil? Neither had we. So we were intrigued and delighted when the new YSL Volupté Tint-in-Oil landed in the office. The new product is ground-breaking given the fact it makes the tint colour and the oil, two elements that usually repel each other, work together. The mixture of apricot kernel oil, macadamia seed oil, coriander fruit oil, jojoba seed oil and passion flower oil ensures your lips are highly nourished, while the tint – which awakens on contact with the skin – uses your natural lip tone to produce a bespoke colour. With eight shades it’s hard to pick just one… so we’ve decided No5 Cherry My Cherie (6) and No2 Oh My Gold (7) are our faves. $59 each.

Hair Oil: Ever feel like it takes all morning to blow-dry your hair from wet to dry? Well, thanks
to Matrix Oil Wonders Flash Blow Dry Oil, $22 (8), your drying time is cut in half. This dry oil will also infuse your hair with Moroccan argan oil, leaving it softer and shinier. What more could you ask for?

Face oil: We’ve been big fans of body oils for a while now so we’re pleased to see the craze moving towards the face. At the moment Manuka Doctor Facial Oil, $30 (9), with its blend of antioxidant-rich oils, is a great choice to help protect against oxidative damage. Go-To has also recently released a protective face oil called Face Hero, $50 (10). The blend combines 10 different plant oils and works to strengthen, nourish and brighten the skin. We bet your dehydrated skin will slurp up a few drops of these morning and night.
