The latest beauty buzz around food for your skin is chia seed extract. It boosts moisture levels and has protective and anti-inflammatory benefits. Dermatologist Leslie Baumann explains why it’s in the spotlight: “Chia seeds are high in linolenic acid, a fatty acid that helps the body absorb vitamins A, D, E and K. Make way for a wave of chia-seed based products arriving on our shores in the next six months.
