Julianne Moore the new L’Oréal Paris Global Ambassador

No stranger to the world of glamour, redhead Julianne Moore joins the L’Oréal Paris brand as its latest Global Ambassador – and we are excited about that.

Her on-screen roles include movies such as The End of the Affair and Far From Heaven, Boogie Nights and The Hours, but perhaps our favourite was her Emmy award-winning performance as politician Sarah Palin in HBO’s show Game Change.

The 51-year-old has a very realistic take on beauty. Yesterday at a PR event she was reported as saying she’s a fan of the L’Oréal brand and has been for years.”I am an actual user of the brand and it’s hard not to be. Every modern woman shops everywhere for beauty, but for me it’s mostly at the airport or the drugstore.”

Nice to hear movie stars go shopping at the pharmacy like the rest of us!

Expect to see Moore as the face of the new anti-ageing range L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cellular Renewal, which launches in 2013. Rumour has it, it’s going to be a winner.
