In Part 1 of this two-part series, Fashion Quarterly editor Sally-Ann Mullin goes along for a consultation and laser resurfacing treatment at Caci.
It’s no secret celebrities love their beauty treatments – and in particular the more heavy-duty lasers and peels which keeps their skin looking as fresh as possible.
Of any celeb in Hollywood, you would presume Kim Kardashian-West has tried it all.
So you know it’s kind of a big deal when she professed to Oprah, there is one skin fix she loves above all others: laser resurfacing treatments.
Caci offer Fractional C02 Laser which treats small areas (or fractions) of the skin at a time, delivering heat into the skin via laser and getting rid of the outer layer of dead and damaged skin cells. This process encourages collagen production and in turn, improves the tone and texture of the skin (it’s great for surface scarring), while also minimizing fine lines and the effects of sun damage.
No wonder Kim is a self-professed fan.
Fashion Quarterly editor Sally-Ann Mullin wanted to know what all the fuss was about (and whether it really works) so went along to Caci to undergo a fractional C02 laser treatment herself. How did she fare? Watch the video above to see her undergo the treatment and then watch Part 2 to see the final result.
