You don’t need us to tell you that your skin is a crucial organ, being the first defense against external irritants and harsh elements.
Time, stress and exposure to UV and other weather elements = our enemies. They ravage our skin cells and as the function of these cells declines, so too does our skin’s immunity and its ability to self-repair.
Aside from sunscreen, a booster should play a key part in your skincare regime. This patented treatment is used before your skincare routine and enhances the effects of the treatments that follow. In addition to this, it helps to block out as many of those nasties as possible and boosts your skin immunity to help it repair itself quicker and more efficiently.
Shiseido’s Ultimune Complex was developed with all of the above in mind and is the key ingredient in both their Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate and their Ultimune Power Infusing Eye Concentrate. The Eye Concentrate is so powerful it actually took out the award for Best Eye Cream at the 2016 Bauer Best in Beauty Awards last month.
We don’t take eye creams lightly around here, so the fact that it was nominated by our beauty editors carries a lot of weight. Not only that, it then went on to receive the leading number of votes in this category so it’s clear you love it too!
HOW TO USE:
Apply morning and evening after cleaning and balancing the skin. Dispense one pump of formula onto the fingers and then pat gently around the eyes. Follow with eye cream that addresses targeted concerns if desired.
Applied twice a day, we saw a visible difference to the texture of the skin pretty much straight away. There was a smoother finish and our fine lines both in the crow’s feet area and under the eye were minimised. There was a certain ‘plumpness’ seen immediately after application and undereye concealer went on like a dream.
We have been using in conjunction with Shiseido’s Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate and there’s definitely an improvement in the overall smoothness. Our skin feels super nourished and that’s a result you cannot argue with!
