Today might mark the first official day of summer, but in life, as in fashion, we prefer to be ahead of the pack.
That’s why we thought we’d celebrate the start of the season early with last night’s Fashion Quarterly swim show. Held at Ostro in Auckland’s Britomart precinct, our favourite annual event saw fashionable guests making the most of the late afternoon sun on Ostro’s City Terrace whilst enjoying lobster rolls, refreshing cups of frosé (that’s a rosé and vodka slushie AKA your new summer tipple), and music by DJ Isaac Aesili, who looked the part in his WORLD tropical print short suit.
The party was turned up a notch when models wearing colourful, skin-flashing swimsuits paraded around the perimeter of the room before stepping onto plinths and busting some moves.
