A new VIP fashion event featuring a runway show, food, shopping and presentations from some of our leading designers has been added to the New Zealand Fashion Week schedule this year.

As part of the three hour corporate lunch hosted by NZFW managing director Dame Pieter Stewart, guests will be treated to a two-course meal while watching the Resene Designer Selection Show presented by Fashion Quarterly magazine.

Guests will then enjoy a special segment styled by the Fashion Quarterly team, showcasing their take on this upcoming summer’s fashion.

Kate Sylvester, Trelise Cooper Boardroom, Kathryn Wilson, Juliette Hogan, Zambesi and TK will then show select pieces from their latest collections, with a focus on dressing for the boardroom, before guests are invited to a shopping experience featuring garments available at VIP prices.

Dame Pieter said the lunch was an exciting addition to the schedule that would give people the chance to experience the glamour of NZFW.

“The corporate audience is so important for our designers but until now the opportunity for NZFW to reach that audience has been limited.”
