Footwear fanatics know it’s a hard ask to consider paring your shoe wardrobe down to a top five, but Kathryn Wilson has done just that with the launch of her ‘Famous Five’ collection, available from Wednesday 29th April.
The capsule collection highlights five classic styles that Kathryn considers her most essential, all of which are inspired by the designer’s clique of muses and supporters who motivate her season after season.
Designed in a timeless palette of tan, stone, black, white, ink and red, the ‘Famous Five’ collection features:
The Boh Boot, $389 – a polished, stacked heel ankle boot with an ankle strap and gold metal hardware, named after the talented Boh Runga.
The Caroline Ballet, $289 – based on one of Kathryn’s earliest designs, the Caroline (named after Caroline Sills) is an elegant favourite for daytime, but glamourous enough for evening thanks to the chic patent leather finish.
The Kathryn Brogue, $289 – a year-round favourite, this wardrobe must-have is available in patent black, taupe and white, and is the designer’s namesake shoe.
The Julia Heel, $349 – named after the Miss Wilson designer and Kathryn’s second-in-charge, this classic rounded-toe court shoe with a stacked heel is the cherry on top of any outfit, no matter the occasion.
The Kylie Heel, $289 – named in honour of the inimitable stylist, Kylie Cooke, this style is a wearable, mid-heel, pointed court shoe that’s perfect for the stylish woman on the go.
