In case you were in need of a reason to wish away the winter, Kowtow has delivered in a big way with its spring/summer collection.
Launching early August, Kowtow’s spring/summer collection draws inspiration from Mexican modern architecture and ’70s industrial design introducing earthy coral, olive green and off-white to their offering.
But a new array of colours isn’t the only thing new. In this collection, 5 new ethical fabrics bring the theme to life; corduroy, fine knit, ecru denim, colour blocked knitwear and seersucker, each taking around 12 months to design and create from scratch for desired weight, weave and feel and all adhering to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) by using approved inks and dyes for printing, dyeing and washing.
In keeping with the brand’s aesthetic, the collection remains utilitarian, minimal and carries an understated sense of femininity. The real hook? Kowtow’s unwavering ability to get us excited about graphic prints, bright colours and bold proportions, and this season is no different.
