Every year, New Zealand Fashion Week brings with it a sense of excitement as the industry comes together to share their latest designs and catch-up on all things style.
This year, NZ Fashion Week had a renewed energy as it debuted its most diverse line-up yet, with new and iconic designers from all walks of life showing forward-season collections. In a move that felt very in step for 2019, the event relaunched with a focus on inclusivity and sustainability, giving it a new sense of purpose beyond the undoubtedly beautiful shows.
For the Fashion Quarterly team, our favourite moments not only included what we saw on the runways, but also the emotive and thought-provoking presentations that gave us a sense of pride for our place in both the local and global fashion community.
