For Gucci Fall Winter ’19, get set for another season of design and storytelling straight from the fantastical mind of creative director Alessandro Michele.
The new #GucciPrêtÀPorter campaign channels the nostalgia and pageantry of runways from Gucci’s past, alongside the unique dynamic between a designer and muse. Alessandro Michele pays homage to the history of Gucci and the decades, muses and designs that have shaped the house, and celebrates the legacy of ready-to-wear.
For the FW19 collection Alessandro Michele has delved into the famed Gucci archives, and it is objects, rather than characters, that play a starring role this season.
We take a look at some of the unexpected jewellery pieces, contemporary apparel and new handbag shapes inspired by the house’s archives.
