New York-based label Proenza Schouler, renowned for its cool, undone womenswear, will release a limited edition MAC Cosmetics collaboration range next month.
Co-designer Lazaro Hernandez said beauty always played a huge role for the label, so embarking on a makeup range made sense.
“MAC has been our biggest supporter for years now,” Hernandez said. “They’ve collaborated with us on our beauty looks backstage each season and truly know our brand.”
“While we kind of do ‘anti-makeup’ for our shows, we thought it would be cool to put some things out there that the Proenza woman could wear off the runway.”
The collaboration, which hits Auckland counters on May 26, includes a range of lipsticks, nail lacquers, eyeliners and blushers.
