Don’t rain on my parade: In what has been a tumultuous week on the weather front, NYFW goers took on humidity, belts of sunshine, and relentless downpours.
Loose, floating floral dresses, utility jumpsuits and playful pops of colour and animal print were sported across the city cementing bold as the new ordinary. The usual New Yorker suspects were there (and we’re not talking about Eva Chen or Olivia Palermo): western boots, denim with fraying edges, oversized tailoring and Dior saddle bags.
In what has resulted in an inspiring pick ‘n’ mix of trends, Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm were just warming us up for what is set to be a mammoth month of international fashion week street style hits.
