New Zealand Fashion Week partners with Bauer Media

New Zealand’s leading magazine publisher Bauer Media is joining forces with New Zealand Fashion Week this year, with definitive fashion and beauty guide Fashion Quarterly leading the partnership.

Simply You, NEXT, Woman’s Day and Cleo will also support the event, and comprehensive online coverage will be available throughout the week on fq.co.nz.

NZFW managing director Dame Pieter Stewart said it was important to have the support of titles with a discerning and engaged audience.

“This is a partnership that we hope to grow allowing us to reach a bigger, broader audience in years to come.”

As part of the partnership, each magazine will inject new life into the Resene Designer Selection Shows with editors styling a special section showcasing their take on the upcoming trends for the season.

The official NZFW Guide, a mini magazine showcasing exactly what’s happening throughout the week, will also be produced by Bauer Media for 2014.

Bauer Media publisher Fiona Lyon said the titles would drive even more opportunities for local designers and retailers as well as generate greater consumer engagement for the worldclass event.

Tickets to the Resene Designer Selection shows will be on sale through iTicket from early July, and bookings for the Friday afternoon show presented by Fashion Quarterly are available through coneystanleyEvents.
