Karen Walker’s enthusiasm for the 1970s doesn’t appear to be waning, with the New Zealand designer’s latest New York Fashion Week show channeling British sci-fi time travel series Sapphire & Steel.

Joanna Lumley’s character is the inspirational springboard for Time Machine, a collection which fuses style from the bell-bottomed decade with functionality and Victoriana.

The collection will be available in New Zealand from August 2015.
