Wear them to uni, wear them to brunch, wear them wherever the heck you like ’cause mules literally go with almost anything!
Everyone’s crushing on mules as the ultimate shoe this spring season – you can opt for the flat kind, the sparkly kind, the comfy kind or the Gucci-inspired kind… and many other kinds too. Yep, this 90s throwback trend began with the likes of Gucci and Mansur Gavriel releasing pairs upon pairs of coveted (read: too expensie for us) mules which naturally inspired some more affordable retailers (holla ASOS, Topshop, and Toni Bianco etc.) to do the same.
They’re a fabulous, smart casual addition to a jeans + white tee combo, or can be worn with your favourite warm weather wrap dress à la Miss Crabb. Flat mules look chic with shorts (Cecilie Copenhagen we’re looking at you) and a striking black pair are a welcome addition to any power outfit.
Needless to say, we’re all for embracing these as our new go-tos.
